    Full face deals

Supergo has some nice deals on full face helmets right now.

I have the Bell Bellistic. Great for an oval head. $65 right now.

Also the Giro MadMax II is on sale for $80.

Honestly, I think Flint SCs should be nicknamed "Tandoori."

As in ... hot as hell and you can smell the "head curry" after you take it off.

    Phew.

I wonder how those MTB MadMax's will work out on snow. I'm tempted to pick up a set and find out.

I picked up a mad max II MTB fullface last year and it is a lot cooler than the flint because of all of the vents. I suppose that the additional vents could get packed full of snow, but i never had that problem. I am really quite pleased with the helmet's performance on snow thus far.

no. a full face snowcross helmet is the way to go. much higher impact protection. just see the snell/etc ratings sticker and crosscheck it on the snell site.
