    Quick re-drilling question

I've got a pair of 178 Dynastar Inspireds. They've been drilled twice: Once by the shop when both them and the bindings were new, and again by a friend (professional job w/ a jig and all) so I could mount the bindings 2.5 cm further back cause I hated the center mounting.

I'm now thinking about putting freerides on them. Would it be safe to put another set of holes in em, or is the old "don't drill more than twice" a pretty firm rule? It would suck for them to break, but I'm pretty light (140s), and I've never broken skis before. What do you guys think?

Sorry if similiar questions have been answered before.

keep the holes 1cm apart and life should be good.

I'm on mount 3 on some skis and they are just fine, but I've also seen bindings rip out after mount #1.

I agree with mtnlion.....you probably shouldn't go as far as 5 remounts as I have...haven't failed yet, but always suspect......I also have had the first mount fail, unfortunatley more than once.
