I just know you're gonna do these when I'm in South America. Bastards!

I've heard that Big Boulder is one of, if not the, narrowest singletracks in the whole area (Tahoe included).

    Count me in for both.

Yup. It's just past Pauley Creek.

I can pull a day trip in the next week. Otherwise, I'm out until after Sept. 13th. Normally, I'd be sad about this. But frankly, my other plans are better.

And don't you talk to your sister? Damnit man, what's wrong with you? There's another mini planned for Sept. 11th and 12th.

I'm sure pizza boy will want to ride before then...if he's not steezing rails that day.

Tyrone, Did you ride with Stoneywall today? Did you mention this epics to him? I'm sure both of us would be interested.

yup! had a great ride at Skegg's. I think I may have mentioned these rides as our lungs were exploding at the top of a climb, so I'm not sure it registered

Sam's special route has a little bit of up in it, yeah, it pretty much crushed me.

yeah, lph, don't you ever talk to your sister ??

Downieville mini on September 11! It would be a blast to be up there for that weekend - it's the "Mountain Epic" weekend, which should be a great time.

Would be a great place to be on that tough anniversary, as well.

Wow... it must be a matter of fate, but I'm free that weekend too. Guilt free cycling, while the better half is enjoying the peat bogs of Ireland.

Those dates are free on my calender too....it's penciled in

(but if anyone wants to go sooner, my arm can be twisted to ride them twice)

More dates, stuff to keep in mind:

November 6th: Granite Bay (Folsom) Mountain Bike Duathalon
    http://www.tbfracing.com/04_events/04_fallmtbdu.htm

2-mile trail run; 20-mile mtb ride (90% rolling singletrack); 4-mile trail run.

Start training now and be in great shape for ski season. Let's get a bunch of maggots in and we can start placing bets. you can enter a relay team too. And afterwards we could retire to chez-Shoe for some beer and....beer.

Dang it - I think I'll be in Washington DC for a Board meeting that weekend. And since it's my first, I think i might wanna make an appearance....

I expect a full TR with good pix of all carnage!

Hey, shouldn't Mammoth be opening that weekend? I believe it was somewhere around there last year.....
But this sounds like fun. If there isn't much snow, I'll consider this ride!
