    Thumbs up Riding with Brian

Well it's not everyday that a world champion shows up at your backyard jumps. I rolled out yesterday to find none other than Brian Lopes and a small enterouge of photographers and gruopies at the jumps behind my condo.

I helped dig puddles and pull weeds (summer dj neglect ) and then it was time to session. Luckily a non rider friend of mine was there and snagged a few decent photos. Hopefully I can get my hands on some of the nicer ones the pros took, but that might be tough. Anyways Brian rides so fast it's incredible. He's blurred in every picture, and knowing the speeds from experience I could not believe how fast he came into the lines. I was on my big bike because my hardtail is having some issues but I was feeling on. The highlight for me was Brian asking me for beta on the outside line. I don't think he needed it, cause he dialed it on his first try, but i got a kick out of it. I gotta say I was tottally humbled by his skills. He made the jumps seem so rookie somehow. A whole nother level I guess.

    anyways some pics:

I was trying my best to get the photographers attention.

That must have been awesome! We watched him take 2nd last weekend at Snowmass in the Mountaincross; he always amazes me.

Nice job on the orange ASX, I wish mine could do that stuff.

Nor the rider skill. We have to get CS and Hev together this fall, hopefully in Moab.

Unfortunately CS informed me today he will not be attending this fall, maybe he needs to be convinced, begged, prodded, etc.

Yeah, Moab ain't happenin', but I'll be at the Rampage for sure. Mr. AG, get the lowdown on those Bender trails and we'll have ourselves a good time.

And nice freaking pics hev. Kickass!
