I've been thinking about what my perfect boot would be like, and im wondering if there are any boots out there that have some lateral give to them (sort of like a walk setting) that would ease the pull on your shins on backseat landings......if the boot flexed back with your upper calf, it would be much smoother right?? or would this compromise performance too much???
and if not am I the only one who has thought about playing with the walk setting of a boot (as in trying to ski in it) and maybe stiffen it up??
my only thought that would keep the perfomance, would be that the boot would need a good solid pressure to flex back with you, and it would pull up hard back to normal....like it was spring loaded.....am i crazy?? or does this make some sort of sense??
