Question Recommendation for a good shop in/near Manchester or Boston?

Me and a friend of mine need to get some mounting done. He needs his new race boards mounted up, and I need to put a plate on my slalom skis. Theres nothing in Worcester that I trust anymore...

So does anyone have any recommendations for a knowledgeable shop (preferably a race shop, or a shop that would have a lot of plates on hand) they have dealt with before and know will do a good job mounting?

    thanks.

edit: the shop can be pretty much anywhere in Ma., northern CT, or southern NH.

Buchika's in Salem, NH right off 93 is where I go to have my mountings done. They've mounted plates on a bunch of my setups and are really knowledgable about that type of stuff.

Give 'em a buzz. Bode Miller loves that place, too.

Buchika’s is a pretty good shop.
I’d recommend Ski Haus in Wilmington, MA and Salem, NH. I forget the phone numbers.
There's a lot to be said for nowhere.

The Wilderness House on Comm Ave in Boston is solid. They know what they're doing over there.

I disagree, my buddy bought Volkl V4's from them last year and after 3 runs at Cannon his toe piece fell off because they had mounted it totally wrong. and to make matters worse they claimed that he had been messing with the mountings. I was with him when he picked the skis up on Friday night and with him when toe piece fell off and he ate shit at like 40 mph HARD. He didn't mess with the bindings at all, just shitty workmanship.

I'd go Ski Haus if'n I was you.
    thats new hampshire as fuck

hmmm. apk has blown bindings out of volkls he got there too. although they blamed it on his crappy style, which seemed reasonable enough.

serious though. i mounted my spatulas myself (sort of) instead of leaving them there. seeingas i almost drilled through the base myself, i was glad i didn't let them have em. although i did leave them my CMH's and freerides to mount- hmm. maybe i should just go and see if they will lend me the jig instead.

Wilderness House on Commonwealth Ave rules for bootfitting because Gordon Hay and Dr. Dave really know what they're doing. They also carry some b/c stuff thats hard to find elsewhere in Boston. Ski Stop is run by a guy who used to be a WC race technician for Volkl/Marker. Bottom line if you're looking for service related to race gear Ski Stop may be your best bet, but if you want boots fitted go to Gordo at Wilderness House.

Was a sand flea (summer type) way back in the day. And that day was long. long ago. I first slid accross the threshhold of the of the Raunch House when the drinking age changed to 18 in MA.

Them were the days of sailing vessels and 15 year old hotties dancin' on the bahh by gum!!! Eddddiiie get Bonzo anotha budwisah ya bastid!!
