Hey Tippster where are you in this one?
Great shots.

Could you hear the crowd response when W filtered in?
cool tr tippster.
Also, playing a clarinet gets a surprising amount of saliva running through the instrument. I could see issues with that freezing up once it runs down to the bell. Now a professional level clarinet only clocks in at $2-6k, but I still wouldn't want to take that out in 20 degree weather. (Though the do make some out of wood by-product and resin for situations like that, but that didn't look like one of them.)
That there tip is some proper shit.
Wandering around that whole area you realize how big it is and how much distance is between the lincoln and the steps of the cap for example. Then you get higher level photos, an overview if you will, and REALLY realize you had no idea how big you thought it was.
Nice work.
^^
I did walk from the Capitol to the Washington Monument on Inauguration Day to watch from the base of the monument. When I looked over towards the Lincoln Memorial after the swearing in and saw even more people in that direction, I was blown away once again. I have an idea how big everything was, but not so much ability to comprehend what I had involved myself.
Every person in that crowd has many stories to tell from that day and even more to tell about what brought them there.
It's about 2 miles as the crow flies from the Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial.
Great TR, thanks for posting that!
Nice TR. I liked the picture of Obama during the swearing in, though Roberts bald spot keeps drawing my attention.
