Parents are in town so last night I was out having a smoke around 11-11:30 and saw a few "shooting stars". The 3 came down in about the same spot in the sky. Damn cool, did not know this was an "event".

Gotta take advantage of my spot for the next few days, then Im south bound.

was even seeing galaxies (white milky like star formations at least), it was in the top ten of nights for star gazing. Too bad the telescope is already at the new place.

Biggest problem: Keeping the good woman up that late. She is in the tired, irritable stage now. And she owes your misses a call, her voicemail JUST came through yesterday from a while back.

Got real;y drunk with dad tonight and saw a shit ton of meteors. Mom driving us crazy, dad put down a pint of some fakjin whiskey, went to bar, 2 potchers of fat tire, more coronas, oh shit, moring is gona suck.

Dman milkay way is visible, lots of shooters over the big dipper.

Nice night, one of a few till i move into the city life more. got to work in am and i dont care, i got to take advantage.

I just got back from Carson Pass. My hands are a bit numb from the drive home (Jeep with no top or doors), so the TR will have to wait. But yes, this was deserving of a TR. One of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed. And once again, the right music at the right time.
