Dr. Crash and I will be climbing Rainier this weekend with some people we met on the internet. If we summit Sun AM as planned and manage come back alive, we may be up for beer later in the day.

Oddly enough my appearances at the Vu are usually around the time that my car payment is due every month. Coincidence, I think not. Oh and no free rides-you assholes come to watch, you had better be prepared to pay!

Snork, you'll be pretty close to Red Hook brewpub in Woodenville. Nice place- highly recomended, especially as they have outdoor seating.

    Praise Be

nope, seems like I'm going to miss all the fun this summer...

I did see in the new powder that MSP and TGR are in town again this fall... pre party offer stands here in the U or not... jst an idea... here's anotha... poached from the Stranger... Lot's of honey's will be there. (disclaimer) been a long time since I seen 'em but it fits the Saturday bill...

    Sebadoh
(INDIE ROCK LEGENDS) Though they developed a (partially unfair) reputation for sketchy live shows, Sebadoh was one of the godhead bands of the 1990s. Together again after a hiatus of several years, the band's key members, Lou Barlow and Jason Loewenstein, are touring as a duo, dropping the band pretense for now and focusing on playing stripped-down versions of their still-amazing songs accompanied by guitars, basses, and boom-box beats. Praise be. (Crocodile Cafe, 2200 Second Ave, 441-5611, $10.) SEAN NELSON
