Oregon represent!
arn't they are from Portland?
seattle, i think.
olympia bitches.
its funny to me that they are so popular now.
they played a free show in a student cafe at my painfully hipster small pacific northwest school in 97 and only 25 people showed up.
picture basom with a handle of jack standing three feet from senor brock, passing it round to the rest of the band in between songs.
they got really fucked up.
Issaquah, Washington represent!
I googled it
edit--who cares where they are from..
I havent seen em for a few years, but I really liked em the times I have.

fully agreed. as one of those responsable for getting them to do that show at my school, i am obvioulsly a big fan.
emotional performace to say the least.
" big fan, big fan "
I saw them at the Fillmore here in Denver, good show less than perfect venue though.
"Do the interns get Glocks ? "
they are on letterman tonight.
Modest Mouse on Letterman? I can't believe they're actually getting some big exposure. I think I'm gonna weep tears of joy. Seriously. I didn't think shit like this could happen to great bands anymore. That whole industry in so fucked.
Edit: Now that I think about it, Letterman has had some good bands before. Still, this is nice.

What a sell out!![]()
Yup, definitely from Issaquah. Issaquah is on I-90 maybe 20 miles east of Seattle. It's on the way to Snoqualmie Pass and Alpental.
