Summer 04 Playlist - songs needed

So I've compiiled a cd of Summer '04 and am in need of 2 or 3 more songs. Don't laugh at the Ashlee Simpson, but I actually like the song and feel every summer has to have one true pop song. Looking for Tuffy's help, mostly, here's what I've got so far:

The Jessica Fletchers : Bloody Seventies Love
    Snow Patrol: Chocolate
    Elbow: Red
Death Cab for Cutie: The Sound of Settling
    Franz Ferdinand: Take Me Out
    The Rapture: Sister savior
    Absinthe Blind: The Dreamers Song
    Jem: They
My Morning Jacket: One Big Holiday
The Streets: Fit But You Know It
Hot Hot Heat: Talk to Me, Dance With Me
    Ashlee Simpson: Pieces Of Me
DJ Danger Mouse: Public Service Announcement
    Modest Mouse: Float On

The Shins - "So Says I"

or "Fighting in a Sack" if you want to avoid the "obvious" hit on the album.

The Shins are about as close to the sunny sun sun summer of Brian Wilson in a recent release. Chutes Too Narrow was one of my favorites in the last year.

The Killers - next big thing they say. "Somebody told me."

Also from the same album check out "Mr. Brightside."

    "Maps" Yeah Yeah Yeahs
    "Triple Trouble" - Beasties
    "Starlite" - Young Heart Attack
"Walk Idiot Walk" - The Hives
"A Favor House Atlantic" - Coheed & Cambria (This one sounds like a joke, but it grows on you.)

Interesting note on The Killers. Saw them at the Mercury Lounge in NYC early in July. Third name on the bill. "Somebody told me" breaks on KRock. The Killers hit the Bowery Ballroom three weeks later and sell out in 35 minutes. What a little airplay will get you.
