anyone played around with the mounting point on a pair of concepts? I put em center mounted with a pair of binders that have a lifter on it and absolutely hated it, felt like I was going over the handlebars all the time. I don't ski much park but I'd like to experiment, it just seems like a center mount absolutely sucks for all mountain skiing. Should I go 1 cm back or 2?

mine are mounted just ahead of the chord center like probably 1 cm in front of chord center. i think they are great like this. Good for park all mtn. and rails. I don't have any riser carving plates either though.
Originally posted by tywhy i had a pair of the candides kinda center mounted and they sucked for pow and anything off a groomer or away from the park. move that shit 2 back.
I think 2 cm will be the move, there really isn't anything like trying to ski the concepts after skiing G4's they feel like snowlerblades. I just never could find the balence point on them anytime the going got fast or choppy.

how was the park performance of the ski once the binder is moved back? Not that I'm EVER going to be mistaken for a park rat but I did kinda enjoy jumping off stuff and doing some miserable attempts at railslides. I'm probably never going to throw anything resembling a flippy-spinny type move, but will 2 cms plus the soft twin tail make a backseat landing next to impossible and really screw up any hope I had at sliding a rail?
