I 've read on here that the brakes on look bindings are hard to bend and sometimes break if its not done slowly. Anyone have any advice on this. I was going to use an old ski pole or pipe are just gently reef on them until they bend out wide enough. Does anyone have some wide brakes for looks that they'd be willing to hook me up with? I think i can bend them, but don't really want to break them.

Unless you have the race models, there shouldn't be a problem. In fact, you can buy wide brakes for the non-race Look/Rossi bindings.

What model Looks do you have?
Like BB said, if they're the burl versions (P18, ZR) they're brakes are tougher to bend. They're so tough BakerBoy broke a fingernail trying to bend them

Are they P18s or ZRs? Both brakes are broken?
