Does it really matter if it is a mouse? I mean, it can still suffer, right? And anyone who would make something suffer like that intentionally deserves some karmic justice. Am I wrong?

    It's a mouse.
    Not the point.

    Gavin,

I think the beret you are wearing is cutting off the circulation to your brain.

Leave the coffee shop at once.

I don't really define nature as cruel because nature is not sentient. I believe cruelty requires intent, nature doesn't really mean to be cruel, it's apathetic. Unlike some of us humans. And I don't think it can be used as an excuse to act like a total jerkwad anyway.

Can't really compare human cruelty to that of the wild. One is driven on instinct, the other is driven on pre-meditated thought, aware of the consequences.

Hey barista, I am not tip toeing around the issue. Placed snap traps and they did not work. Switched to a glue trap and killed one fucking mouse.

Get over it and get back to making some hot, foamy soy milk

You made it suffer unnecessarily, by your own hand. You seem to think this is right? I'm not really talking about the actual killing here, moreso how you did it.

One wonders why you did that instead of just killing it. Maybe it's because you are a coward with little conscience?

You are causing yourself way too much brain damage over this issue. Unmute your Dashboard Confessionals CD and shut the fuck up.

People can rationalise his action all they want, but it's still wrong for him to do that. And I hope he learns from it before karma bites him back on the arse.

I bet Gavin uses Maxi pads over tampons because he figures the tampons stress and suffer being shoved into his gaping vagina.

Yes, I'm sure they stick cows and chickens in superglue and make them rip off their own skin and limbs before throwing them in the garbage bin, starving them to death.

In comparison, killing animals in the meat industry is humane. It's usually an instant death, so I have no issues there. In fact, that is why there are laws pertaining to their slaughter.

Killing animals in a humane manner for meat is one thing, intentionally letting them suffer on superglue for a loooong period of time without killing them is something else entirely. If you can't see the difference, then you are a moron.
