    Pieps DSP Issue?

    Hey TechMags

I have a new Pieps DSP beacon, and it doesn't seem to be working correctly.

According to the manual, pressing the MARK button for 3 seconds while in search mode will isolate and suppress the strongest signal, so that you can focus on finding the next signal in multiple burial situations.

On my beacon, Pressing the MARK button seems to do the same exact thing as the SCAN button, scan for signals in 5, 15, and 50 m ranges.

Is this an actual issue, or am I just Jonging it up?

Anybody have any advice or input? As far as i know, it is already up to date with Firmware Release 6.2.

This seems like a pretty significant flaw to make it past QC, but neither the manual nor the pieps.com offers much insight.

    Thanks

    A) Post this in the slide zone, more people will see it.

    b) Are you trying to mark an older analog beacon? I've seen mark fail on older F2's, etc.
