Does anyone know of an avy 1 class closer than the one offered in Sisters, OR? Only see those guys listed on the AIARE website, figured there would be something up near Hood though?

Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

I took MountainSavvy on Mt. Hood two years ago and it was good. Looks like they have a number of Avy 1 classes left this year with open spots:
