'There's some excellent conditions on the way for next week as the tail-end of tropical-storm 'Alex' hits the coastline. The swell will come in overnight on Monday morning with waves possibly reaching up to 8-10ft face-height and clean with just southerly winds expected - this could be the best summer surf for many a year! It's probably too late for the contest but it'd be great to see the final day of the Boardmasters delayed by just one day???! Weather wise it's looking like an overcast by dry day.'
