after being on the fence about taking the class i'm really glad I did. doesn't make you a snow science expert, but it sure does open your eyes to things you need to pay attantion to

took the avy 1 class at Silverton Mtn this year and it was well worth it....just have to practice as much as possible and stay alert.
I just completed Level 1 with CMS in Estes. Super cool class and great instructors! I highly recommend them if your looking for a course. Cheers.
You guys will see some scary stuff when you start digging in the JH snowpack for that class!
I'm looking at the Jackson Hole Mountain Guides class that starts on the 13th of feb. Does anyone have experience with JHMG?
sign up for it. I thought the class was great and learned a ton. Spent lots of time on the snow, and all the instructors knew their stuff.
