I don't know what it was but this made me stand still and enjoy the serenity of being in the wilderness. Just to think of the men and women who passed through this area years ago, travelling from place to place by foot. I wonder if the times were better then than they are now?

Glad you made it there. That's one of my favorite spots in the whole wide world. Did you find the springs upstream?

Upstream springs eh? We went up to the next creek, which comes in from the left side as you hike upstream but thats as far. No need to search for springs when they were right there. We were going to head downstream of the junction to some. Heard there is a built up shower made of pvc.

I tell ya...that hike out is a bitch!

Yes, it is. I thought we were going to lose one or two of our crew. It's a steep sumbitch.
