Grilled Salmon Salad served up this last Saturday at the Whoa Nellie Deli (my favorite restaurant) located in Lee Vining at the base of the Tioga Pass (the eastern entrance to Yosemite).

That is cool. What kind of shutter time is this? Is the air/tree just totally still?

just messing around with a couple of different edits on this one, not sure which i like the most though. having the hand in the shot showing the fish being released is cool but there's a bit more of a mysterious vibe with the hand cropped out.

Dammit, I just got home from stuffing myself with sushi and gyoza washed down with Japanese beer and that pic is making me hungry again!

    Great kid shots.
You're not kidding about motion blur, but sometimes you get lucky. That was shot at 1/6.

Decided to reprocess some shots taken with my Holga from 2007. All taken in or around Jackson. Thought I would share.

This was behind the bar after my buddy Sam's birthday.

Thanks. I probably have a 10:1 keeper ratio on these motion blur shots. But I'm also a believer in "It's better to be lucky than good."

Like the Jackson Hole sign one.

First astro-shot of the season, just trying out the high-ISO performance of the 5D2:
    - Canon 5D Mk II w/ Canon 35mm f/1.4 (static on tripod)
    - Total exposure = 94-sec (stack of 5s, 8s, 10s)
    - Aperture = mix of 1.8 and 2.0
    - ISO3200

That's some nice work Fuzz... it's absolutely ridiculous how many stars you could see this weekend.

Thanks. It's too bad the Milky Way is to my south, right over the most light-polluted part of the sky (I-70, strip malls).
