    The sky looked nice yesterday

I tried to get some wet pine needles with the colored sky behind them, it was hard to get but this kinda does it, I had to shoot at a high ISO because it was pretty dark so the saturation in post processing brought out a lot of noise

something like that. 25 second exposure started with a remote trigger while I was standing directly in front of the camera and slowly walked away. I want to reshoot it walking farther to one side of the frame with a shorter exposure

yeah but how did you get the ghost trail of yourself to be strobed? Or is that really just from 60Hz lighting flickr???? Was there a tow truck or something nearby? The strobe exposure of your ghost trail is really what is tripping me out.

EDIT: I was just at PB 2 weeks ago, stayed at the surfer beach hotel. That place is undergrad city, was surprised to find a few cute UCSD students among the Aztecas. I bit much for me, I look about as old as they all do but finished college 8 years ago. Then we watched some douches get into a fight into the street and some lame blonde girl come kick the shit out of douche number 2 after he was already pinned down by douche number 1. PB was NOT like that at all 10, even 5 ,years ago ...

No trickery used there...I promise. I am lit mostly by moonlight and some light pollution. Strobe effect is probably due to me trying to walk very slow. step--->stop--->step--->stopish type action.

Single: I recognize the skate park but can't quite place it; Spokane under I-90? We used to skate there back in the early 90's but I have no idea if it's still there. Not thinking Burnside...
