I went to the Marathon today and grabbed a ton of shots. I'm gonna start a thread on the race but here are some non-race oriented shots I liked.

I think you have me confused with someone who is far less awesome.

I like the couples shot, splitter.

From the Fisherman's Friend Strongman Run 2011 in Nürburgring, Germany this past weekend. My wife and some friends ran it - I took pictures.

I had such high hopes in my head about this shot.

Next time I go down there I will have to bring a wider lens, set up differently and take some better shots. It was just sooo cold that I set up, took a couple snaps and left almost immediately. Plus the heavy wind made the water a little too rough for the reflections I was looking for.

advres - wider angle would definitely help get more bldg in but I kind of dig the softer/blurry light reflection. a fisheye right at the corner of the water would make for a sweet shot.

We've won it. It's going to get better now. You can sort of tell these things.

A friend from my homeland: Shot in South Dakota in early February with most nights sub zero with -25 F wind chill. Used Dynamic Perception Stage Zero dolly and Milapse mount on most of the shots.

The sky finally cleared up, so I got another chance to try my hand at star trails.

Thanks! It was barely fifty and the water put the numb on the extremities. Still worth it. The skier (Jay) pulled that one out ^^ btw. A little crush over the wakes and you can see he didn't quite step into the turn far enough but still a pretty kick ass pull. Dude was hauling ass.

Outabounds, nice shot! Is the the tree shadow on the right from the moon? Also, forgive my ignorance, but is that Mt. Hood? Again, sweet shot.

Thanks, Edgnar. Yep, it's Hood. Good eye. The shadow is from the Timberline Lodge parking lot.
