My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.

    ^ great shot!!!

It was actually about one and a half I think. It was one and a half. I've got a great Polaroid of it, and he's right there, must be one and a half.

Eh, lieutenant, what were you doing there?

Communicating. Keeping up foreign relations. You know, giving him the bird!

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

pretty nice job on that HDR. Looks like it could have been done with a grad ND. colors aren't on acid or other typical HDR garbage.

Left a bit early for work this AM to snap off a few.

From a solo photo trip I took to Austria Mon-Wed.

Looking down the Schlegeistal. The two big peaks are at the top of Hintertux Ski Area. This was a 12 mile roundtrip hike, starting at the far end of the lake.

On the Pasterze Glacier in Hohe Tauern National Park. This is the longest glacier in Austria, the longest glacier in the Eastern Alps, and the 5th longest in Europe. I was the first one up the Grossglockner High Alpine road on Tuesday (6am opening) and the only one to hike down to the Glacier while I was there. Loved the solitude!

It's just a bunch of stacked leaves from some rare plant at a botanical greenhouse place. It looked like spots of light so I upped the highlights slightly but I really didn't have to do much editing, just nature's cool design

The 2nd is the radial design entry for my AP portfolio
