Just a couple Pot smoking teens in the back of a truck. I'll be back home in a day or two and will post some more from the trip

Maybe this explains why it reminded me of the Beastie Boys.

I got a cheap set of graduated neutral density filters to play with (lean the ropes of use) for my birthday. I got a chance to try them out this morning. I can see they aren't really a tool that can be whipped out at a moments notice. It takes a few extra seconds to get everything put together. Since they are cheap plastic filters, they seem to be good at picking up a static charge that attracts dust to them . But they do help even out bright skies.

I like this one, it's probably the only place in the area with a bike trail, a lake and the Pine Valley mountains all in the shot.

I'll get it out some more this weekend but I took it to the resort today and it seemed to do well. The shutter button is way more sensitive than on either of my DSLR bodies so I'm struggling with timing but I'll get used to it once I get to use it more. 1 second later and this would have been a pretty impressive spray.

A healing broken rib = limited winter activity options = time at the vise.

i just got back sunday from a three week stroll around southeast asia for my honeymoon, and definitely got to see some cool things. i have a lot of photos to go through and catching up to do, but i'm hoping to get a few entries into the MPC, and maybe even a photo TR if i'm feeling motivated. regardless, it was fun to get a lot of clicks in.

Its Quail Creek Reservoir in the St George area of Utah. I'm not sure of the trail name.

Check with me if you're thinking of heading down.

Edit to add: here's some of the crew enjoying that moment before we have to jump in and footpack that hill off to the right:
