Nice shots NEK, has been a gorgeous couple of days indeed.
Wildflower season is here! Should hit it's peak later this week. My guesstimation is we're at about 80% right now.

Splitter, why am I suddenly humming, Presidents of the United States???
Serious/Somber note. A house exploded in our neighborhood today. Violently shook our house, 2 streets over. The house exploded, burned to the ground and as you can see, was totally destroyed. The family, minus the dad was out of town. He was burned/injured and hopefully will be ok (the word is they sent him to the Burn Unit at the University of Utah). One of our good friends who lives a few doors away pulled the man off of his back deck before the house totally went up. Please say a little prayer for these folks if that's your style or simply keep them in your thought's if it's not.

Seems to be a theme these days...
Spotted that guy enroute to trying to get some fireworks pics from last night's show
And on a Things-I've-Recently-Learned-The-Hard-Way note, don't shoot into the sun at f22 with a couple filters on. Ugh:

^^Can someone explain that for us non camera savy folk?
f22 is as narrow as the aperture goes on that lens, most lenses too for that matter. That means a very small piece of the outer glass element is the only part being used to capture the photo. Every little bit of fuzz becomes a much bigger deal, then add in the polarizer (dust x2) and the grad ND filter (dust x3), plus shooting into the sun all make things even worse. Nothing that can't be fixed with a few hundred clicks of the spot removal brush!!
