I would have shown you around had I known you were here. Have fun in Golden!
Supermodel, I'll answer for uglymoney. It's the Upper Arrow Lake, shot from the Shelter Bay ferry just south of Revelstoke.

I'm learning a bit more in photoshop lately. Shot in september in Lake Powell.

Inspired by Mtchams eagles, but in no way is it remotely close in quality. Playing with a 40 year old Pentax 300mm F4 hand me down lens on my T2i. Not bad for manual focus with no IS. The only thing is, the CA is HORRIBLE. Especially when I put a doubler on it. I could see it through the view finder, and on the computer its even worse.

Got bored and made one of these, for $4 it actually works pretty well for timelapses. Also made a steadicam for the gopro.

^^^Nifty mickey mouse job on that thing! I like when people make something from nothing... good stuff.
Went for a little journey today and shot this. I'm sure you guys are bored as hell of seeing night shots of Boston but that's all I've been shooting lately

dude. you've stepped it up a bit. I dig that system. So many good parts, including the parking lot in behind the watermark... And terrific starbursts. Rad photo.

Much thanks! Frankly I think the camera and lens do all the work for me. But I have been working on processing lately and camera raw 7 is amazing compared to the older plugins. I have redone a ton of my old shots with great results. Thanks for the kind words... doing my best and like to think I learn a little more every time I have the camera in my hand.

Don't Taze me bro.
oh, I'm well aware. Definitely more like the end of April rather than the beginning of March. At least today we start a little storm cycle. I'm trying hard to not get ahead of myself.
from yesterday's glassy water session on the east shore, a little earlier than the one posted above.

Aaaaaand i'm done with Photobucket. They don't give a shit about image quality. Used to be you could upload images at whatever size you wanted as long as the file size was below 1mb. They've taken that option away now and every image gets downsized to some stupid "web" size regardless of the original file size and much sharpness and detail is lost in the process. Both of those pictures were output from Lightroom at 1080x1350 and look pretty sharp when viewing them in windows photo viewer off my hard drive but look really soft and crappy off Photobucket. Sorry... [/rantmode]

Right on Ksyrium! I've always wanted to visit the pyramids and sure wish we could see them how they looked right after they were finished.
I don't recommend taking the balloon ride though.
