My apologies guys. I wasn't sure if that crossed the line or not. I removed the offending photo from my post and deleted it from my profile, but oddly enough it still shows in others quotes. Don't ask me.

    The feedback is appreciated, thanks!

I wouldn't describe it as offensive. I'm happy I had a chance to see it. Certainly it was more artistic and well done than just posting some nude without any artistic merit.

I can absolutely appreciate wanting to share it. There were some nice shots in that set and that one stood out, for obvious reasons, but also because of the nice execution. It had a nice slower shutter for silky water but not too slow to make her pose impossible.

Just a bit of a surprise in the POTD thread.

    Thanks for sharin'.

If that shot was NSFW, then your W hates art and sucks.

well, that's neither here nor there...

I appreciate the shot and took time to demonstrate what I thought was good and appropriate about it. I don't think my observation about it being a little bit risque was out of line.

I work for patagonia. If you think their commitment to art is suspect, or that they suck, well, there's not much I can say about that.

Recently you've started to develop into a bit of a confrontational pain in the ass. I like your photos, I appreciate your commentary, but this new-found internet Portland-dickheadedness isn't becoming.

Rather I'd like to look at some more beautiful shots of your kid so I can learn something about photographing mine whenever he decides to arrive.

Actually, everyone in Portland is nice except for me. Don't give them a bad rap.

Here, the baby will make you feel better...

Love that one of the wife splitter. The expression on her face says it all - "I'm really ready for this kid to be born."

A couple from Thanksgiving morning on the Sandia Tram in ABQ.

The tram's tinted windows gave this picture an interesting color cast:

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

^^ Colin, F YEAH! What glass is that? Sharp diggity yarp.

I went to a place in California right before Thanksgiving. It was cold. I may have punched the saturation and masked some contrast curves just a weeeeeeee bit ... (I need to get better at masking). Maybe I should get an intervalometer too - waiting 70 minutes to figure out if you exposed and focused the shot right is a bit of a pain.

Great shot, I love the contrast in the dark blues and blacks.

My shot was with the Canon 200 2.8. It never leaves my camera.
