    Pics of some local riding

It's a slow day today so I figured I would post some pics of a couple of the supa-fun DHish trails around here. What they lack in length is made up in fun jumps and features to drop. We have so much fun riding these, it's hard to stop and get pics of some of the cool stuff to ride. Here are a few examples:

This is the second of two jumps you hit right off the start of the trail

One of the many nice little drops

    A steep rock section

Different angle of the second jump

    Different angle of the drop

Don't leave yet, there's more for your viewing pleasure.

Farther down the trail we find this nice little jump

And yet another opportunity to leave the dirt

This little number is fun. You have to clear the double then immediately hit the breaks and rail the berm.

And then there is this wall. This pic does no justice to the steepness of this line, or the fins and ledges the stick out just waiting to catch a front tire and send you sprawling.

    More! More! More!

Another trail, just over the hill. Same story, fun riding with drops, techy sections, and some doubles thrown in for fun.

The first drop encountered. This one is an ass-pain since the guys who built the tranny built it way too close to the rock and you have to go really slow (disconcerting) or you easily overshoot the landing (not fun)

This drop is way better, with a smoothe tranny that lead into a berm that lead into a nice double.

    Same drop, from above

    And the double after it

    And some creative chit

Very cool pics. You guys are crazy on some of those drops.

The way the trail was heading down to the freeway, I was expecting you guys to have built a gap jump over it.

    Loved the sequence.
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

    NICE

Love the sequence. Great pics makes me wish I still delivered pizza, instead of a damn 9-5er, so I could go play right now. Oh well, soon just a couple more hours.

Actually, if you notice the inherent lack of spandex and shaved legs, that would unequivocally make them my friends.

What did he do wrong in that carnage sequence? I can only assume he was a bit too far forward on the landing? Did his rear shock rebound him OTB?
