Be vigilant! On sunday my friend's car was broken into, along with some random minivan near Walker Ranch. He didn't mess with mine; must've thought that someone with a car as shitty as mine doesn't have anything worth stealing. No huge amounts of thngs stolen, but that's not the point, insurance sucks as does having to cancel cards, etc. Also stolen was some cheeb and a pinch-hitter, but that didn't make the report. I told him to say that a "wooden tobacco accessory" was taken, but he didn't like that idea.
The sheriff said that trailheads have been getting hit super hard recently, so try not to leave anything of value in your car. We saw a suspicious looking fella who definitely wasn't there to hike or bike and didn't think twice about it until it was too late. Keep an eye out!!!
