My Montana has an East Infection
phish still sucks.
Had to work until 5 but I took the T in and caught the last hour. Great show and definitely a historic event in musical history. As Dispatch said, it may well have been the biggest crowd and independent band has ever played for.
During the show I kept thinking, wow, no radio time, most people heard of this band through file sharing and look what it did. 100,000 or so people all enjoying great music. Even though I'm not a die-hard fan I salute Dispatch for showing the world that file sharing really can promote good music.
"Stoke your own fire or burn out like the rest"
so why are they quitting?
ordered the dvd/cd also
i sent it to my future dorm--gameplan is il forget about it and get a surprise present in oct
Cool bad with a unique sound. Most impressive is how far they went with a little good fortune (napster) and a ton of entrepreneurial spirit.
Rock star fame without selling out...the American Dream, no?
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.
My buddy said it took 13 hours to drive 5 miles to the site. Also said they had torrential rains, closed the highway & even Shopping Utility Vehicles were getting stuck. He said not much nug but tons o happy chocolate.
