    My avalanche experiance.

Hey guys, I am going to share one of the most scarriest experiances of my life.

I am going to post a link to the first interview that I did after the avalanche instead of writing it up.

    http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-col...avalanche.html

The link for my interview is under the "Related" section and it is the second interview.

I can post some pictures I took of the crown if requested.

I was then very ignorant to avalanches and still am. But I am starting to further my knowledge by reading books and I am going to take a couple of courses this year. This incident has made me obsessed over avalanches now.

RIP Leigh, hope you are shredding deep pow in a better place.

    Steve

Thanks for sharing that interview. I was in Revelstoke that day and remember learning of the avalanche. I was a good bit more careful skiing ungroomed snow in-bounds last winter. When you say "obsessed" over avalanches, what exactly do you mean? Obsessed with learning? Avoiding?

That Dec. 3rd raincrust was a nasty timebomb last winter all over BC.
Thanks for sharing .. feel free to post yr knowledge here.

Looks like we will have some bonding issues with the current snowfall if temps drop severely tomorrow.
