    PM Gear Product Line-Up Question

Congrats guys on getting the Bro from dream to reality. Really nice ski.

Was wondering if the good folks at PM Gear were going to add any other products to the line this year?

    Thanks in advance.

    Good question.

We're adding tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, snowshoes, boots, overshoes, more gloves, backcountry GPS satellite beacons, and jeez, I can't even remember everything.......

We (2P) will be redoing the entire site over the next month to prepare for the new season and we'll be a full-on webstore with the best prices on the web. We are growing.

    more gloves,
This looks like a good thread to ask in - Are you guys adding a gauntlet version of the Kevglove this year?

    Thanks in advance.

...and hopefully, all of which will help to fuel the design & introduction of more skis. So please, continually tell us what you want, because like splat said, we're growing.

I'm not sure. We're going to retest the guantlets and see if they'll be up to snuff enough for you guys.

BUT we will have what we believe are the most awesome gloves in the world right now. A little pricey, but waaaaay cool and functional. Been skiing in them for the last six months and they are the shit.

    And they're guantlets.

    Talking

Tyrone, Splat and anyone else who is involed with the skis and PM Gear, please take note,

I want a ski with very little variation between waist width and tail width, like making the current BroModels 126-99-105. I think they pintail design will be the next big thing and while that isnt a full taper, it would allow you to finish a turn in a carve but would also make it harder for the tail to snag or hook on steeps or in shitty snow. Also, the tail would naturally sink in deep snow, kinda like a swallowtail but without the loss of torsional rigidity.

And if you ever get around to making something 100mm+ underfoot, I think the taper design like the Iggy 3T is the way to go, except maybe make it even more pronounced, say an 8-10mm taper from waist to tail. It makes sense, tail sinks, tip floats, tail slides instead of hooks up, making smear turns and turns in tight areas easier.

Finally, get on the stick making a shorter version, preferably something in the 180cm (and please, no shorter than 178cm, for the sake of my masculinity) range for those of who don't ski huge mountains or who aren't big enough to turn a 188. While you're at it, narrow that tail down some on the shorter version, say between 105 and 110mm.

You want input, you got it, haha.

Let me know when you grow large enough to warrant some help from the east coast (other than buying all I can afford).

Sick and ashamed and happy (and have absolutely nothing to offer),

Cool, thanks, Splat. I'll just wait for the next webpage update to order a pair.

I must've misunderstood... I thought they might be something to allow you to see where your buddy's are in crappy weather or similar...
