Some of my friends have been going to a race series held at South Seatac park every Wednesday night. They say it is really fun and pretty chill. Anybody up for it next week?

"You look like you just got schnitzled..."
sounds fun! soon as i get back home you can count me in. i'll wash my spandex! hehe
isn't the seatac trail network kinda like a BMX track for big kids?
Not sure if I'm up for racing, though...But it sounds like fun.
So I guess we'll move the Preston Rides back to Tuesday night then, eh?
it's really twisty singletrack weaving through an unbuilt and abandoned housing development with 747s flying 300ft overhead. sort of a strange place to ride.Originally posted by BC-FLOW

there is one good flat section of linked dirt jumps and one downhill with some good jumps as well. however, if this weekly course is set up anything like the WIM series race that was there in April, they send you climbing up the downhill fun section. lame.
ever since i got my ass handed to me in said WIM race in April, i've decided that i am definitely not an XC racer.
As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
yeah i'm not so sure about the race thing as well but it sounds like it could be fun. tiger is pretty hard to beat!
i'd like to formally invite all fellow maggs to race with me on the highly serious team PBR. manditory tall boy at the hydration station!
Come on, racing isn't cool unless it is downhill or mtxYou want to be cool don't you? racing leads to a life of spandex and scales. Just put some heavy rims and downhill tires on your bike to keep you from the path of darkness.
On a sidenote, i was in a race once. Lesson learned: it helps to ride the course BEFORE you try to race, especially when it is actually technical, and especially if you lack bike handling skills. There were 2 highlights though, one being my race number was 666, and the other was being asked halfway through if i needed a medic. apparently i had skinned my knee pretty nicely![]()
