    need ski suggestions

I need some input from people who have found winning fast skis. I havent tried enough new shit in the last few years and I would like to know what works.

I need something that is FAST and stable. My old ski for this was the last bandit xxx before the B3. Not a bad ski, but way too much sidecut. suggestions? Im mostly skiing Abasin and vail with trips to UT/JH/ and many trips to squaw this year. I could care less about park, I ski the mountain...leaning towards techy sections, cliffs, steeps, air.

Im thinking of getting the stockli scot schmidt pro model but unsure of size, it comes in 186 and 194. Im leaning towards the 194 for extra speed and stability but wondering if the 186 is plenty. However, this ski is 90 under the waist, and I know I dont need that for everyday skiing....although thats what I have gotten used to.

This ski would be for everyday skiing, deep days and even semi deep days Im going to be back on the spatulas(the best fucking pow ski ever)

If you have any suggestions for a very fast all around colorado ski besides the stocklis Im all ears, and I guess Iggies arent out of the question either

sSS 186 is you r answer.

even Scot skis the 186 ( at least he did last year when in UT)

try & get last years model if you can, they are softening it a bit in the shovel & adding sidecut

I ride a 186 Stormrider DP as my every day ski at snowbird it is a very versitle ski it will carve on groomers float in the pow. The ski is great in the crud and is by far one ot the funnest skis I have ridden in spring conditions. My only complaint with it is it can sometimes dive in deep powder if you dont stay balanced. But It is great at speed and feels stable.
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.
