    Thanks for that. I was tempted to head up there given the new snow & seeing how we only got a fraction of that, but the bulletin has changed my mind. Maybe Tuesday.

    It has been -24 to -30 in Rogers pass for the past week so if you are headed up for a little xmas cheer make sure you have your down with you. The conditions in the alpine and at tree line are hard wind-slab in almost all areas. The conditions just below tree line are marginally better but as you descend the coverage becomes very thin and early season hazards abound. The best chance for a few good turns is in sheltered S/SE trees at a higher elevation. The weather outlook is calling for the possibility of a little snow over the next few days....hopefully...Merry Christmas and play safe.

    60 cm ++ ski pen in the pass, wicked skiing, but be careful with all that new snow. Lots of natural activity.
