    "I'll Never Tell..."

...can't wait for the first issues of the magazines to start coming out...

...sign of good things to come...

    First come the mags...
Then you wake up one day and can smell a certain crispness in the air...
Not long after that, the first frost shows up...
School is back in session, and leaves are turning...
And then one day, it happens. You look up beyond the confines of your life, and there, high up on the hills above, is a touch of white, a little frosting for the soul...

    and its game on.

    Bring it!

I'll never tell......what i thought this thread was about.

But I like the way you're thinking. Lets not forget movie premiers, scraping the last wax off your boards, and wondering where exactly all of your gear is.

You forgot the part where sometime after the mags come out, but before the frost hits, you wake up face down in some Argentine girl's titties with a pair of goggles around your neck and snorkel on.

Ah yeeessss!!! My dad always talks about that crispness. The premise of "September 15." That's usually when the first high pressure cell hits. Then it starts getting sunny... THEENNN it starts getting cold. And then.... then I'm packing my bags.

    Not long now.

I like the fact that there are other people here who need to pack their bags in order to go skiing.

Max, high pressure bad, low pressure good. For a science guy, you should know better. Take an atmosphere class when you get to college.

whisper little timmy. whisper. secret agent nefarious jackson your automobile resides in the hood. dance for the children. dance. under the spell of an eyemelting toxin bottle. functioning in public, but watching the clock knowing the functioning is almost functioned out. i'm sore. i have no idea how I got home. I had 2/3rds of the triple crown completed before 9 this morning. pitchers are bad. I poured myself out of bed pretty late this morning. it's all about the sunglasses and the upturned collar (and a huge monitor to hide behind). and I'm pretty sure i'm still drunk. nice appearance by the pinman. i'm pretty sure I'm glowing yellow. I bet hobos would lick my pores if I let them (which I will, cuz I'm freaky like that). not really, I made that last part up. I'd probably charge them.

i pulled your from the club by your ear, threw you in my trunk, stopped 2 blocks from your house and punted you over the fence to your front doorstep. Your flight might have made you ill, that or all the sugar in your monkey pitchers. Dunno what you guys are talking abouts, i feel fine........water, does the body good, so does lots of coffee.

Excellent point Roo. Yes, I pack my bag to go to the hill, the ski bag though. An hour and I am riding up what seems to be the slowest chair ever, as the excitement and butterflies start as I am about to hit it again this year for the first time.

I take this for granted, maybe a lot of us do. When I end up moving out of Utah, I hope to be within close distance to a decent mountain. Right now I have Beaver Mountain and Snowbasin and Powder Mountain just another 30 minutes or so.

I take this for granted and need to stop. I feel I am one of the lucky ones. Even if it is on the weekends that I ride or ski, it is still great that I can just get in the car and be there.

    Roo, nice eye opener. Thanks.
