    Libby's Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Usually follow the Libby's canned pumpkin recipe, but do not have a can of that brand. The recipe on the brand I do have on the shelf is calling for 6 eggs and 1 1/2 cups of maple syrup.

Not sure I want to try something new like that, so anyone have a can of Libby's and can post the recipe for the 2 pies- I know it takes some eggs (4?) and 2 cans of condensed milk, etc.

I don't have the recipe handy since I'm at work, but I just bought some Libby's (the large can) and it definitely calls for 4 eggs and 2 cans of evaporated milk (pretty sure evaporated, not condensed). I don't remember how much sugar, and I never pay attention to the spices, because I always spice my pie more than they say and use other spices too (any combo of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves and ginger works).

    try googling, maybe?

    Maple syrup?!?

That's so wrong, this is why America should conquer Canada, or at least Vermont.

that libbys stuff works great. recommend cutting the milk in half -- did it by accident once and have never looked back. condensed or evaporated are basically interchangeable as far as i can tell.
