Today looks really good. Too bad I have to work. I am probably going on friday and/or saturday when the swell hits. I have a good group of surfers I go with but there is usually room. When/where are you thinking about going?

Wherever, whenever. I'm pretty much a surfing JONG, but I surfed for 6 months at Trestles (Middles not Lowers) so I pretty much know how to not be a kook in the lineup. I usually just go to short sands. I just got a 7-6 thruster, was on a longboard before. It's new, so who knows if I'll be able to stand up on it. I'm averaging one day a year for the last few years, although I'd like to go more. Especially now since the snows not working.

So, if you roll out of PDX and wanna bring another, I'll pitch in for gas, etc. Can also drive. Got a Legacy Wagon with a rack.

    PM me.

Looks like a good weekend for swell and at least down here, calm conditions.

Today was head high plus and no wind. Got to like that.

Yeah, I might just have to drive out on Saturday on my own. I forgot I'm having a garage sale Friday. Yes I'm serious.

I was in hillsboro this morning and my buddy called getting out of the water at short sands. He said it was a complete washing machine and total shit. A funky south swell was ruining it. I turned around and am back in the city.
    Tomorrow could be better.
Sunday is the Nelscott reef tow in contest...could be a cool spectacle

thanks for the heads up. The swell and period are just a little too big for my tastes. Wish I was up on the Strait in WA, which should be going off this weekend.

Yeah, the coast cams aren't looking so good. I was gonna go tomorrow, but, maybe not. Fuck man. It should just start snowing to solve this whole mess.
