    My new Karpiel :)

I just got this beauty built up yesterday. Rode it today just around town jumping off stuff and it almost brought tears to my eyes. To bad it rains 5 outa 7 days a week here in denver now.

I've ridden many many dh bikes and for my size this is by far the best riding bike I've ever ridden...may be due in part to the rear shock though

Not to be the bearer of bad news but Karpiel just went out of business last week. From what I hear, the owner was locked out of the building by the local Sheriff for failure to pay his lease (for quite a long time). Everything in the shop has been confiscated, seems like a total loss. You might want to check RideMonkey for more details if you need them.

On the bright side, the bikes are awesome. If you have a chance to get any spare parts, get them now. If you are ever stuck and need help with it, our buddies over at Go-Ride used to ride / work for Karpiel and may be able to help (they have a lot of crap stored up). Have fun.

    WOULD IT!?!"

Ya I knew they went out of business but I have quite a few spare parts, extra bushings and link plates and stuff. The bike is a 2002 but I just got it repainted so it looks brand new. The thing rides so awesome it's unbelievable too bad there won't be anymore of them. And at least they are indestructable so I'm not too worried. Just happy

The latest I've read is that they're still in business. Things are pretty shaky right now, but I guess they're still kicking...barely.

    Nice ride Brady.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

With that on there I can clasify the bike as a "All Mountain Trail Bike" Plus it drops the weight from 46lbs to 45.95lbs! Now I can go get some buger kIng
