Sounds like a great movie if you are into blood 'n' guts death.

Was there any footage of blood flying up off the chain making a nice fine red mist?

Had to bump this cause I'm a total dumbass and saw the movie DESPITE samwich's very clear message not to. that was one sick movie. And I happen to like suspenseful scary movies. since I close my eyes during gory scenes, I probably saw about half of this movie.

he's right, it will haunt you!

But, I do have to say that it was effectively VERY scary. If you like to jump out of your seat, this will do the trick..... My blood pressure was far too high for it to be a remotely enjoyable experience, but I wanted to be scared, and I sure as hell was.

Shoulda listened to sammy in the first place.

    Really? What does it say???

I wasn't planning on seeing the new version because I'd rather just rent the old one, but seeing something like "DO NOT SEE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE" and reading about how much sammy hates it just makes me want to go check it out. Any movie that pisses someone off that much must be good!

p.s. If you really want to see something that will piss you off then check out Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, that movie is SO BAD.

Yeah, Chainsaw 2 really was bad. Campy to the point of being downright annoying!
