Damn, sounds like a great weekend. I should have posted earlier and paged the LA contingent as I will be in SoCal this weekend visiting family- but not sure how much freetime, if any I'll have. Supposed to go to House of Blues to meet up with my sister and friends in Anaheim Saturday night-

Trying to get to either Huntington or Newport for Saturday night instead of HoB. Can you make it from say, Anaheim, in less than 30 minutes with traffic? Any recommendations? I'm only familiar with Westwood/Hollyworld hangouts...

    Thumbs up

Tonight: Solo camping trip into the Sawtooths with my doggies. Lots of reading and I already picked up a couple of habeneros to cook over the fire. Good, clean fun and lots of fun for the dawgs.

Tomorrow: Wake up and go for a long ride in the sawtooths super early, so the dogs don't over heat in the camper. Then go to the Stanley Bakery, a joint my buddy just opened that is fucking awesome!

Tomorrow night: Drink myself silly and rock out to Rubberneck, a P-Town band playing in town.

Sunday: Recover, then go for a ride. Dog training. Sleep.

HOB kinda sucks in O.C...but that's just my opinion. (I'll be at the HOB on Sunset tonight)

The AVP is in Hermosa this wknd..Sunday is usually really good due to the finals..(2pm-ish).

Dingle- I'll be surfing at Rosecrans (Manhattan Beach) tomorrow and Sunday am.

Tonight- Sharkeez at 4, a buddy is guest-bartending..so I'm sure that'll be the end of the night for me.

tomorrow surf/vball tournament in Manhattan, Shellbacks for beers at 3pm, bike back to Hermosa for bbq.

Sunday...Surf am, watch AVP in Hermosa...dred about Monday's meeting.
I have mastered all major sporting activities to a high degree of mediocrity.

Well, if I don't get sent to work:
Sat - 6:00am tee time, 10:00am load bike in truck, 11:00-11:30am unload bike in Canmore or Banff, sometime later hit mntlions to pick up another pair of cmh's
Sun - Repeat, substitute Kananaskis for Banff and drink beer for pick up new skis.

Starting at about 5 p.m. tonight, I'll be enjoying Friday afternoon at the Club 2ME, J St, between 47th and 48th, Sacramento, consuming a cool libation and watching the Yankees kick some booty.

Tomorrow, I meet with my contractor early in the morning. After I apply my size 10.5 to his ass and mutter the hated (by him) phrase "back-charge", I believe I will finally see some progress.

Then, maybe up to Truckee to get out of the heat.

Yeah, that's why I'm trying to convince her to get me a ride into either Newport, Huntington, or Laguna! (although, I'd much rather be up in Manhattan Bch or Sunset)

Sheeet, I've had 3 straight contractors flake-out on me. The first two having submitted bids, too. I'll be calling #4 later today.

leaving for trail ride in a few.

cookout/sendoff for some shop co-workers at their place tonight.

chasing stripers on the brewster flats tomorrow.

may substitute wrenching on dh bike for fishing in case of rain/parts shipment arrival.

as usual, lots of driving this weekend, although basom is driving to the party tonight because he can't fit his gimpy leg in my jeep--dodged designated driver duty with that one haha!

Maybe going on a ride at St. Edwards, maybe going to the gym, maybe finding a large body of cold water to submerge myself in.

Tomorrow- spinning class early tomorrow morning before it gets BUTT FUCKING HOT, then heading up to the mountains to hang out by the river and drink beer. The game plan fo the whole weekend is staying out of my poorly ventilated house and not passing out from the heat.

Yeah no problem on that commute. Who's at the HoB? As for recommendations what do you like? Sleazy beach girl places, dive bars, more info needed?

Fri night: Grill some steaks, drink some beer, maybe watch The Return of the King, since I just bought it on DVD.

    Sat: Surfing/party at San Onofre

Sun: Who knows. I'm thinking maybe a trip to the Orange County Fair since that's in town, and county fairs are always cheap and entertaining.

BWAHAHA, yeah- all the above! Although sleazy beach girls will do- and good music (live or DJ) is a plus.

Wish I had time to page the LAX crew and meet up for a real night on the town, but looks like I'll only have an hour or two on Saturday night in OC for some bar action. What's better for OC as far as variety goes- Newport, Huntington, or Laguna?

Relax tonight, take dog for nice long walk.

Wake up early Sat. am and knock of a peak in the Wasatch I've been wanting to hike.

Sunday am, most likely another peak, but not sure.

    Both are weather dependant.

Friday PM: head to Port Angeles w/ 3 friends, surfboards on the roof! Car's already in the ferry line.
Saturday: Head to La Push. Surf. Eat. Drink.
Sunday: Repeat....except for the drinking part. Return to San Juan Island very very late.

Tonight - chilling with the wife watching a movie
tommorow - climbing up in boulder canyon or bouldering in the flatirons depending on the weather.
    tommorw night - who knows
sunday - bouldering at castlewood canyon in the am, home depot then bed bath and beyond in the pm.

I'm sooo stoooooked I haven't climbed in months, you just lose the feel. Not as fun as chasing and cooking strippers though.

Haven't hung out in Huntington alot. I was in Newport two weeks ago, lots of good looking ladies there lots of variety. Laguna draws a 30 something crowd.

    Barnballs-

I might be in the water in El Porto (Rosecrans) Sunday AM. PM me if you'd be down to paddle out and I'll let you know if I can make it.
