    Hotter than hell.....

Good lord it is supposed to be so f-ing hot in the PNW this weekend and being the delicate flower that I am, I think I am starting to wilt in the heat.
At 9 a.m. this morning I had a victim interview. Me, the defense attorney, the victim and victim's advocate all jammed into a room the size of a utility closet. No windows, no ventilation....I thought I was going to expire. And of course I had to be in a suit. The defense attorney is a pervert so I was resigned to keep my jacket on...but the hot flashes became too much and I decided that letting the asshole stare at my tits for a few minutes was a small price to pay for a little relief for the remainder of the interview.

hahaha that is kinda funny. I was inspecting some steel yestereday for some 10' detention vault walls in a housing development yesterday. I was basically in a big box without a top with the sun beating down directly overhead, and no air movement whatsoever. then i was sitting in my truck writing some reports, and my truck of course is black. Then my boss had the nerve to ask me to do some weeding when i got back to the office Luckily he kinda took pity when i told him i was up at 3 am and had worked 11 hours in the blazing sun. It's supposed to be freaking hot in whistler this weekend also. Heatstroke time

We could use some heat and sunshine here in the PA. I could also use some of that Hot beaver right now.

Would LOVE to be on a lake, but my courtroom duties call. I never thought that I would say this, but in a way I am sort of releived to be at work and not at my house today...there is something to be said for AC that you don't pay for. The courtrooms are nicely air conditioned in our building.
I am heading to the mountains this weekend to lay out by a river and drink beer in an effort to escape how fucking hot it is supposed to be in the city this weekend.
There is a reason why we live in the PNW and it isn't because it is hot and muggy!

Sup Gir! Head out to Ocean Shores for the day tomorrow. Not only will it be about ten degrees cooler, but you can stay cool by soaking your feet in the fackin cold ass Pacific! You then can do lunch or dinner at a seafood place, and then cruise home that even.

Sunday looks to be a little cooler. Hang in the Frosty.

Yeah, she sure has a way with words and I'll quote Girlyski on this one- "I'm not definitely not the shy one"

ha- that was a funny post GS! It'll probably be cooler for me when I get to CA for the weekend than it will be in PNW

I was in wetlands for the last 2 days collecting a bunch of data when it in the low nineties. It is humid in town but add to the fact that with the high water content, heavy vegetation, and no wind I looked like I just went swimming. The cherry on top was that there were more hungry mosquitos than ml of blood in my body around so I have to wear a long sleeve shirt and hipboots. At least I got to eat lunch on and uncrowded beach on Lake Superior. That alone was worth more than all the airconditioning in my office. I'm also praying for winter

It is f'ing hot. My car said 99 degrees at 12:30pm. It's supposed to get even hotter this afternoon, which should make moving real nice.

The TV news at noon says a high of 97 for Seattle, so you can assume the Eastside will be somewhere around 100. That's DAMN hot for these parts.

Look on the bright side - you could be sitting in a 110 degree box, looking for a reason to move.

I know some good movers, by the way, if you'd rather drink beer than save the bucks.

    Check this...

I just got out of a meeting with my boss and a co-worker. The AC is cranked in the conference room we are in, and my boss-lady's high beam are clicked on.

I notice this, and I look over at my co-worker to see if he notices. DUDE IS TOTALLY STARING!!!!! I give him a look to say, "be a little subtle why don'cha"... doesn't even phase him! The dirty ole bastard just keeps staring, all the while my boss goes through her spiel not noticing a thing.

    TGIF!!!!

Optics, thanks for the offer, but we've got the U-Haul rented (from a gun shop nonetheless). We'll grin and bear it, but it's still horribly hot for Seattle (and our poor puppy). I'm just staying inside and laying low until later this evening when it cools down a bit.

    Girlski, are you downtown?

Nope, in Tacoma. I live north of downtown though...looking forward to going home to the fucking oven that will be my house!

I can't believe that it is 100 in Bellevue and 85 in Bham. I think i have one more reason why I am moving to Bellingham after I graduate from law school. More snow, less heat. PERFECT!!!!!
