You should hear the Eek-A-Mouse version, "Joey."

    It's downright painful.

Fuck you! Now it's in my head too, but not even done by Dolly, done by some new Christian country singer whose name I forget and who my wife denies is a Christian country singer.

Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.

I've had this song in my head this morning.

The actual song does not start until about 55 seconds into the video.

Elvis Costello's "Sneaky Feelings." Specifically, the part that goes White lies, alibis, anything but say that it's true/and we can stare like lovers into each other's eyes/but the magic of the moment might become too much for you...

    I don't really mind.

It's also fun to sing or whistle, much to the delight of Mrs. Dallas, our cats, the guy at the coffee shop downstairs, my secretary, the people in the offices on either side of mine, their secretaries, the people in our HR office, and anyone else lucky enough to be within earshot this morning.

    Ear worms!

Try singing America from West Side Story. NPR said this song gets rid of ear worms.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

I'm in the midst of a long-running project to get "The final countdown" stuck in my friends head permanently. I'm close to success.

OK...It's not Friday by definition...but it sure feels like one around here.

    Sooooo:

    Reporters crowdin' 'round your house
Rummage through your garbage like a pack of hounds
Speculatin' what they might find out
    It don't matter none
    You're all washed up

I've had Spiralling stick in my head for days. Serious '80's vibe on it, too.

When did YouTube vids get so big? EDIT: It doesn't embed in large size but if you double-click on it, the vid on the YouTube page is pretty big.
