okay, weird.
I also subscribed today, and re-upped my Snowboarder subscription, too. I think we were all inspired by the thread asking when the first issue of Powder will arrive - anyway, that's what got me to go do it.

Ok, so when I called several weeks ago to the 800-289-8983 number for Powder Customer Service they said it WILL be delivered by August 31, 2004. Well, nada and it is now Sept.1. I am over anticipated with anticipation, so I called again just now.

"I am sorry you did not recieve it yet. You should have. (thanks for rubbing salt in the wound) I do have back stock and can re-send the issue (resend?? not sent in first place is better wording). You will receive it in 2-3 weeks."

She was very nice and helpful and I am antsy!

2-3 weeks?? I will have the Sept issue by then (hopefully).

Granted this was a gift to me, but I STILL WANT MY POWDER!!!

Yes, I could buy it right down the street, but I don't wanna, defeats the purpose of a subscription.
