    Token of my Extreme

I just pulled the trigger on a Custom Inflatables Thrillseeker. A friend of mine told me that I should watch token of my extreme, to see the big water that can be run in a thrillseeker. The copy that he stole from the raft shop he used to work at is no longer in existence, so I am wondering if any of the mags might have a copy of this.

Damn. A WV/MD classic. I think that I have a copy on VHS, but I'll have to check. If I don't - I think I know someone who does. Maybe he can burn you a copy.

Is that the one with the Snyders running Deckers Creek?
It’s the places you ride that are special, not you riding there.”

NlytendOne that would be awesome if you could loan/burn a copy of that. My friend swears that watching that film takes the sticker shock out of purchasing a thrill seeker, and makes you want to boat even more.

That's the one. Want to ask them if they have a copy next time you see one of them? I think Ben D. has a copy, if I don't.

I'll have to dig through some stuff, but I will definitely get it to you if I can find it.

You guys who know the snyders should just ask them if you can put all their old stuff on vimeo for them.

I have a VHS of the Great White Charc I could donate to the cause.

I haven't been able to find it at my house. I may have left in back east. Won't get back there until January, but I'll check for it then. I swear I thought I just saw it during my last move a few months ago. I must be getting old.

That's a good idea. They'd probably go for it.

Big water? We used to have a copy at the rafting outpost I worked at and all I can remember are the insanely low water (think sub-50 cfs) runs, 20-30+ foot slide/drops right into dry walls. I used to see people bring thrillseekers out for creeks back east occasionally but it was always when water levels were almost too low. Good for softening pitons/clappers and quick exits for pins.

Big water just means you need to learn how to flip it and get back in without getting separated. Really last place I'd want an IK though. IKers in CA all tend to hit the runs after they're seeming a bit bony for kayaks. cacreeks.com is IKers.

I'd love to get one for some easy striding. Spent much of a MFS trip standing in one and loved it. I saw Jeff Snyder stride Oceana once though and have no interest in that. I dig their helmets though.

We'll see where Corran takes the hard striding.
