Anyone heard anything about DB Skis?

I looked over their webiste and they look pretty good/interesting, their table rasa model looks comparable to the Iggy FFF in shape. I know they are a first year company which is iffy, but they are a lot cheaper than igneous, and it appears they put out a good product, anyone ever ridden a pair or hear anything about them?

Saw a pair in LL. Heard they broke in two places when the guy on them skied into a gully. That is all I know.

Irony. The very jongish topic I linked to (where everyone responded that It'd already been discussed) was started by me.

I didn't know Dangerous Brian made skis.

    LL incident

The skis that snapped into 2 in LL were one of the frist prototype's they made. They said the problem had since been resolved, shoot the guy an e-mail. He is super cool about answering questions, on the P-mag fourms he would post a every so often answering question's.

The casa rasa skis is very closely shaped to the FFF, say in a 190cm, The DB ski is cheaper, but Igneous has a reputation for building bomber skis, but are heavy...whereas the DB skis are supose to be very light and still be as stiff as the buyer wants...it'll be interesting to see how the hold up over this season, maybe something to consider next summer Anyone have a spair $1180 they don't want?

Yeah, I heard there are two guys who are crapping their pants now that Iggy's are really back. A bit of "price competition might sort out any problems

I bought a pair of Tabla Rasas. I haven't got my skis yet. Considering that I am getting serial number 21, I would say that no one has production skis yet.

Yup, they are stupid fat. I think I'll probably only ski them in AK this year. I'm not sure if we'll see any days here in Seattle that are deep enough to warrent them (over my PRs.)
