I'm actually looking forward to some new terrain. I'll miss Little Cottonwood probably similar to a child mourning a parent, but I'll survive.

MRG has my attention, as does Jay.

I'll let you guys know when I get out there. First day of work at the new job is slated for August 23rd.

Thanks M.D., anytime you want, I'm up for a few beers. I'm not leaving Utah until August 14 or 15, so there is time. I'm working on getting the condo sold shortly (thanks for the Maggot help!), and should have a lot of free time very soon.

First trip back: Mid October. I pulled a bull elk tag, and want to fill it. For skiing, most likely lat January or early Feb. Then again in March, and April...

I don't think my girlfriend would appreciate me shacking up with a college girl at Si's condo, but I'll run it past her. Maybe I can get her to join in and make it a memorable trip!

I've checked distances to the East Coast resorts, and found that MRG is just over 4 hours away. It's not the 25 minutes I'm used to up to Alta, but it will do for now. Again, not planning on this being a life long move, I'll be back to the West, in a few years.

I'll post a full description of what I'm up to after I give notice at my current job, until then, it's all speculation.

Aldo's photo montage is suspiciously missing a big favorite about an hour closer than MRG.

Everyone's memories are short... Magic CAN get hit with decent snow. If the pattern of good/bad/good/bad winters continues, this should be the good year.
