Chronic vs PE

I got a killer deal on some 08 Chronic's with jester bindings, and basically bought the skis for the bindings. Have not skied them yet.
I have been thinking about grabbing some PE's, but do not know what the differences might be.
Is there much difference between the two, and if so what would they be?
The shovel looks to be about 9mm difference between the 2 with the chronic being a bit smaller

What do you want them for? Just Park, or everywhere?


Chronic = 111/85/108 Symmetric Flex

PE = 118/85/109 Directional Flex


Also, the Chronic has a slightly smaller turn radius...

They will both fit you well if you have the same length options...they are very similar skis. I am not 100% sure on this, but I assume that the Chronic is lighter. I love mine, and they handle all mountain decent enough.


Although, the PE has crazy rivot steeze to hold the ski together

Graphics...To appeal to those who hated the "gangsta" look, and to those of us who grew up in the 80's.
