Aggghhh! I have to live vicariously through all of you until the weekend. Looks like the snowpack is already starting to settle - Collins snowstake went from 40" last night to 36" this morning. Keep the observations coming and GET SOME.

Is it just me, or is it going to be another awesome season???

Shmoesmith and I got some at alta this morning.

I think I saw skidog and crew while we were skinning up the cat track.

We only had time for 1 lap, and I need to find where my tele groove went...

Spent the morning up LCC. Bypassed Alta to avoid the crowds and laid down a couple of laps and still only saw a handful of people. Blower pow and deep. Best couple of runs I've ever had this early in November.

Drove by Alta on our way down at 9:00. My guess was there were at least 100 cars in the parking lot.

    Hey man, easy.

I've looked up at Snake Creek from my (parents') kitchen for 15 years. I just figure the Heber Valley slednecks could use some more company up there. The only skeirs that get in there are with the Powderbirds. Fucking shame if you ask me. That's where Alta should be droppin' a new lift, goddamnit. Or Brighton.

Heber Interconnect! Then over to Kamas, then the Uintas, and then north to Jackson, and eventually Bozeman, the Candiand Rockies, ending with a lift up the Messner Couloir.

I HAVE had some pretty funny looks while asking for change...

I figured a maggot contingency would be there.
Ran into a couple of guys from BC.com. I think one of them was a buyer?

I'd love to join ya tomorrow at the bird, but I have to do the evil W thing in the morning.

    Not entirely true.

But Guardsman would better to avoid rocks. Lotsa meadows on the east side of the pass that are good to shralp when there's low snow.
