Heh heh, WOW's snow profile with the TH billboard in the background is truly special. I think the linework in the billboard design is actually pertty cool. Photoshop plugin or actual engraving?

It's raining here in PC, hopefully it's falling in a more solid state somewhere not too far up.

Last three to four frames of the SnowCam have a small but appreciable accumulation. Probably 3/4 of an inch.
Congrats, mags! We collected 1030.68! for birdman!

    Observation from the skilift(for Skifishbum)
    It's windy with flat light.
There was some slush in the parking lot.
Sunshine bowl is off the hook.

4mm breakable on all aspects @ 10420. 2-3" of wind deposited on top of the shiny crust in sheltered areas.

How was the upper reaches of the the Cottonwoods today? I want to get out for b-day tour tomorrow if there's snow worth skiing.

No real snow data, stayed inbounds for the 3 or so hours I was out. Tons of soft fun snow off of Gad II at Snowbird. What was untracked had a little bit of a crust on it, but was still quality skiing IMO.
Congrats, mags! We collected 1030.68! for birdman!

Hey Nate. You can keep your "I checked out the webcam then rode the lifts today at Snowbird and there was snow on the ground" observations on your own dumbass thread. No need for even more redundantly useless dribble from you.

    Thaaaanks.

This thread, and 99.9% of TGR, is useless........and will probably be deleted soon.

The last 4 days we have been getting a couple of inches each day of wet snow/grappel at the Bird. With this snow and the condition of the snow that was leftover from the early November dump I am a little worried about further avalanche danger once we get new snow.

Anyone been in the BC lately? What did you see and what is your predictions?

True, some of this thread is useless (see above) but it is useful to have some additional salient observations from folks over here who don't post on wra's thread over there. Plus, there's some nice stoke every once and awhile that comes out of this, just like the rest of TGR. No need to kill the thread, it's one of the bright spots on TGR, especially now that the S/N ratio is decreasing as the board is being overrun by useless JONGs.

Check it out. Now we're tied for useless posts on this page.

Unrelated, but this sounds promising from NOAA:

A RIDGE EARLY DURING THE WORK WEEK BREAKS DOWN AS THE COMPACT
PACIFIC SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST MONDAY NIGHT.
MODELS IN GOOD AGREEMENT WITH THE TRACK OF THE SYSTEM...WITH ONLY
MINOR TIMING DIFFERENCES. HAVE THUS INCREASED POPS WITH THE
CONTINUITY TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. THE SPEED OF THE SYSTEM
SHOULD PRECLUDE IT FROM PRODUCING SIGNIFICANT SNOWS...BUT
ACCUMULATING SNOWS IN THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS SEEMS LIKELY.
I'll take any kind of accumulating that isn't rain, and agreeing models always cheers me up, especially when they've been at odds on storms for like two weeks. Ungulate, are you ready to bury the hatchet, or what?

Jesus, you all are angsty. Even by TGR standards. Sure delete the thread, whatever. It'll be the same next go round, and same as the thread on TTips- 90% bullshit and 10% useful.

Soooo....does the rain/rime crust go to the peaks in LCC? Comm'on! Somebody throw down a bit of that 10%
